RYCP Rwanda Community stands for Rwanda Rural and Urban Youth Competitiveness Promoters. We are a registered social enterprise based at Maison des Jeunes in Kimisagara, Kigali, and we exist for one simple reason: too many talented young Rwandans have great business ideas but struggle to access markets, finance and the right guidance.
We close that gap. Through coaching, training, market linkages and honest advice, we help entrepreneurs in both rural and urban areas move from surviving to competing, at home and beyond our borders.
In 2024 we met a group of horticulture farmers who grew good produce but sold it at whatever price the nearest middleman offered. Their harvests were solid. Their incomes were not.
We worked with them on record keeping, pricing and quality standards, then connected them directly to buyers through our market linkage program. Today, 60 of the farmers we support sell to reliable markets at fair prices, and many are reinvesting in their farms for the first time.
